EU Sustainable Energy Week 2011

Description : Between 11 and 15 April 2011 hundreds of events organised in all parts of Europe will show, promote, discuss and celebrate energy efficiency and renewable energy - and you can be a part of it.

EUSEW 2011 will also feature a series of high-level events in Brussels organised by the European Commission, associates of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign, and other important players in the field.

Environmental International Forum SAVE the Planet - Waste & Water Management, Recycling

Location : Sofia, Bulgaria
Date : 13-15 April 2011
Description : The Forum is a market and networking place for providers of technology and expertise in the sphere of waste and water management and recycling.
Over 250 participants attended the Conference in 2010- experts, managers and consultants. Speakers were from from Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands and UK.
The event focus country was the Netherlands. There was a Collective participation of Dutch companies realized with the partnership of the Economic Department to the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bulgaria, the Netherlands Water Partnership and the Netherlands Waste Management Partnership.
The Exhibition participants had the opportunity to meet and network with business executives, investors, representatives of local and regional authorities, decision makers in the field of investment policy, project developers, academics, specialists in all industry branches.
Through the start-up of the event Via Expo team aims at bringing expert international know-how and experience concerning innovative ecological practices that will positively influence the sustainable development in the Region as an important contribution to combating climate change.

The event was under the auspices of the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water and the Energy Efficiency Agency. Some of the international partners are German Water Partnership, European Water Partnership, Netherlands Water Partnership, Netherlands Waste Management Partnership, European Organization of Strategic Planning, and WADE - World Alliance for Decentralized Energy. The Bulgarian branch partners are Bulgarian Association of Recycling, Energy Agency of Plovdiv, Information Group Passive Buildings Bulgaria, Bulgarian Association for Construction Insulation and Waterproofing, Bulgarian Water Association

The Eighth International Congress in Materials Science & Engineering

REV 2011 - 8th International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation

4th International Conference on Hydrogen Safety

Description : The 4th International Conference on Hydrogen Safety (ICHS) 2011 will be held in San Francisco, California on September 12-14, 2011 under the auspices of the International Association for Hydrogen Safety (IA-HySafe). The conference will be hosted by Sandia National Laboratories and will improve public awareness and trust in hydrogen technologies by communicating a better understanding of both the hazards and risks associated with hydrogen and their management. Since the ICHS 2011 will focus on safety issues and measures to encourage more extensive use of hydrogen-based technologies, its contents will be different from other hydrogen conferences.

As we enter the second decade of the 21st century, this ICHS 2011 will focus on the improvement, knowledge, and understanding of hydrogen safety to overcome barriers to the wide spread use of hydrogen as an energy carrier. Therefore, this conference seeks papers focused on the following three major themes 1) International Progress on Enabling Opportunities, 2) Latest Advances in Hydrogen Safety R&D and 3) Risk Management of Hydrogen Technologies. All contributions to be included in the ICHS 2011 will be evaluated exclusively in the light of their scientific content and relevance to hydrogen safety.
